Department of Sports Health

Supporting sports athletes, engaging in people's health as a professional in body care.
Those involved in sports are not just the athletes themselves. Regardless of being professional or amateur, sports trainers play a crucial role in supporting competitors in terms of mind, technique, and body. The Department of Sports Health aims to train such sports trainers, as well as to pursue careers in promoting everyday health for the general public and providing care and support in the welfare sector.

You can transfer to university and aim
to become a physical education teacher!
In the first year, students learn the foundational knowledge of exercise instruction and nutrition, aiming to obtain sports-related qualifications. While memorizing terminology and scientific knowledge can be challenging, I believe that trying to learn by physically moving your body helps with quicker absorption. Knowledge is important, but we also place emphasis on personal development as professionals through activities like volunteering.
In the second year, students practically acquire specialized knowledge and skills used in the industry through internships while studying towards obtaining qualifications. The qualifications aimed for include international licenses as sports trainers and health exercise practice instructors. As job hunting becomes more intense and studying for qualifications takes precedence, everyone manages to overcome these challenges by gathering information and preparing in advance on their own.
