STUDENT VOICE

Clinical Engineering Department, Year 2
Mao Yahiku, Chika Miyagi
Clinical Engineering OPC Experience
I attended the open campus about three times, where I interacted with current students and measured blood pressure and performed various tests using actual equipment, such as an ECG monitor. Before attending the open campus, I didn't know what I would be studying, but after going, I was able to concretely envision the classes in the Clinical Engineering Department. I was also able to talk a lot with the seniors, which helped me learn about the studies I should pursue and school life before entering SOLA. Knowing that I had seniors I met at the open campus gave me reassurance after enrollment. Additionally, during the open campus, they provided transportation costs, making it easy to attend even from far away.

Emergency Medical Science Department, Year 2
Soshi Nakahara
Emergency Medical Science OPC Experience
I gained a clear understanding of what an emergency medical technician does and the activities they engage in. By attending the open campus, I was able to form a solid image of what I had only vaguely thought about before. While physical strength is important, I also realized that having a wealth of knowledge is essential. It’s a cool and admirable profession, but I felt that it’s also a demanding job that comes with a lot of responsibility. Through the open campus, I felt that I want to become an emergency medical technician that children admire.

Judo Rehabilitation Department, Year 3
Saori Toyama, Shiori Okuma,
Miyu Kamiyama
Judo Rehabilitation OPC Experience
We checked the school guide and our posture. Not only did we receive explanations about the school, but we also had casual conversations, making the classes enjoyable. I decided to enroll because I felt that SOLA was a good fit for me. I was able to use the library for national exam preparation and assignments, and they taught me how to study in detail.
